Plein Air Impressionist Landscape Painter and Figure Painter

Abita Plein Air will open this Friday April 8th and run only that weekend. It’s a group show with 20 regional artists presenting plein air landscape paintings executed in St Tammany Parish within the last 3 months. The opening is Friday April 8th, 6 to 9pm at the large Bandstand/Gazebo next to the Trailhead Museum in Abita Springs. It will be on view Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm.

The Southeast Louisiana Landscape, curated by John Kemp will open at the St. Tammany Art Association, 320 N. Columbia Street, Covington LA 70433 This Saturday April 9th 6 to 9pm. Artists exhibited will be included in Kemp’s book about Louisiana Landscape painting to be released this fall.

Visit my tent at the monthly Palmer Park Art Market (usually held on the last Saturday of each month).
